Question by SolarPower: Are training pants as absorbent as diapers?
My daughter is 6 months old and for one I want to try to start potty training her, and two, when I change her diaper she wails and rolls over and it takes about ten minutes to get her diaper on her right so I thought training pants might be faster to get her into.

I doubt you will have luck in the potty training this early. And the training pants are worse than the diaper, absorb less and when they poop you cant slide it off, it might smear.

Question by beautifulmiracle2006: How young did you start your child’s potty training?
I am looking into starting potty training on my little boy, he will be 2 in October. He is very interested in what we “do” in the bathroom, and likes to remove his own wet diapers and finds his own quiet spot to poop. I’m in no rush but I would like to hear what ages you started your children, and any secret methods you had to get them to go. We can catch him when he’s about to poop when we watch because he sneaks off into a corner, so we try to put him on his potty chair to do that, but other than that its a guessing game. I’ve been told from “various” people (even though I think that they are full of it) that they had their kids trained at 1 and 18 months. Thanks.

every kid is different, you know best! He seems very young though! I would never pressure a kid into potty training until they are completely ready mentally and physically. My eldest trained at 2 but I now have a 3 year old that hasnt had a clue until now!
