Question by Ria: my one year old son has been taking his pants off and diaper. Is he ready for potty training?
my son has watch me pee. hahaha sounds weird but its just to show him to sit in a bowl. Everytime its time for a bath he takes off his pants and diaper. Is he ready for potty training?

At one year old chances are it’s more of a curiosity thing. It’s defintely not going to hurt to let him explore a potty (the kid kind that sit on the floor) and every once in a while sit him on it, without force and dont really expect him to go and dont make a big deal out of it. But when he really is ready he will be more familiar with it. I got a potty seat for my son at 13 months of age and at 20 months he was already peeing in the big toilet with the kid seat cover on there. You just have to be patient and when he’s ready you’ll start to see more signs like waking up from naps dry etc.

how do you have two sons that are only 7 months apart? you just asked a question about your 19 month old, and now you have a one year old.
no he isnt, he just likes undressing, he is too young to understand his body’s signals. many kids prefer to run around naked, and will pull their clothes off if they can. but it doesnt mean they are ready to potty train, there is much more to potty training than just taking off clothes.

Ohhh ok, i see one year old and i think 12 months. there is a big difference between 12 months and 19 months. and also if he is 19 months then he might be ready for potty training. I tried with my daughter at 19 months. it didnt actually work out, but it was worth trying. buy him a potty and explain how you use it, and why you use it, etc. and just see what happens. if he doesnt take to it, then try again later.

it sound like it you could set him down and see if he’ll do it and one thing that work is put some cheerios in the toilet and tell him to aim they learn real good like that

buy him a potty chair and let him sit on it
he is only one so nothing will happen probably
if he goes praise him, wait till 2, for underwear, 1 yr old bladders r uncontrollable
