when the baby will show that he is going to pass urine or … just force ably put him/her on potty.
Other wise also every day morning make him/her sit on potty . When you see he/she is doing in other place , half the way also you will make him sit on potty. Slowly the baby will understand that he has to use potty for that purposes.

We started trying it a little at 2, when they were able to pull their own pants up and down, and climb up and sit on our stepstool-potty seat. Couldn’t really get serious about it until about 2.5 for the girl, 3 for the boy. Once they decide they are ready and interested (didn’t happen for us till age 3), it went fast and easy. Before that, it seemed very time-intensive and not very rewarding, and they’d backslide. Daughter was perfect by 3.5, and son is now 3.5 and very few accidents. I think the ages when a child becomes ready and succeeds is like any other developmental process or milestone – depends a lot on the child’s individual traits and inclinations.

We started at two but didn’t really make her get out of diapers till almost 3 but by the time she was 3 she was peeing and pooping in the potty. She hasn’t uses diapers since her third birthday except when she was really sick.

not long after they began walking. i fell if they can walk anywhere else, they can walk to the toilet.
