These are great if your little one is dry most of the time and has the occational accident. The first week we did a lot of laundry, but 2 weeks down the road and we are suddenly miles ahead. He can feel when he is wet and he can pull these up and down himself. Disposables kept him comfortable and not having a desire to use the potty, regular cloth training underwear held nothing. These will keep small accidents from becoming a big mess and big accidents from being a disaster.
I wish I had bought more. They seem expensive for underwear since one pair cost the same as a pack of the disposable pull up kind, but it saves money because you don’t have to keep buying them over and over again. I guess it all works out in the wash.

I bought these for my 2.5 year old mostly for car rides, and so far they are great , they contained the mess, are very comfortable, not bulky and he likes them. With pee they have only had to hold a little because as soon as he starts he will run to the potty and finish, I would recommend them.

These training pants are great! With other training pants they pee and you have a huge puddle on the floor. With these it absorbs it, but they can still feel that they’re wet. I highly recommend these training pants!!

I was super impressed with these soft cotton trainers! They are just what we needed. My 3 year old son is potty trained during the day but we needed some protection at night and naps and I was tired of buying the disposables.
These little pants are really soft and have a waterproof layer built in. The waistband is nice and wide, isn’t too tight and the leg holes are soft cotton binding too. I just wash and dry then inside out , not a problem at all! These trainers helped him not to be lazy and to notice when he was wet. He did pee in them one night and just the waistband of his PJ pants got wet.
We were using the Gerber cotton pants with the Gerber all in one trainers on top but he would get EXTRA sweaty and the Gerbers were super crunchy and HUGE. He called then his mushroom pants! They worked fine but he was uncomfortable.
These Imse Vimse trainers wouldn’t have worked when we were first potty training because I think you would be changing a lot of clothes. We used the disposables for a while as a transitions step. A good idea if you don’t want one leak.
Just bought a few more today!

I was trying to find thick training pants.(like the one I used on my kids in the 80’s..for the price these should have been made of gold. I wasn’t particularly impressed with the thickness or the cost for just one pant!

I recommend saving your money and getting cheaper cotton lined training pants if you don’t care about leaks on clothing but want some protection from puddles on the floor, or paying a little more and getting a pull up that has a plastic lining throughout the entire pant. Note, these pull ups are not for napping presumably because the plastic part of these does not go all the way up the sides. Thus, I am not sure what they are good for. They are very soft and seem comfy but why they only offer partial protection considering their price and bulkiness…I just don’t get it.

I want to be more environmentally friendly and have really struggled finding reusuable pullups. I tried these and they do not stop leaks during the night. I am still looking for a good alternative to disposables. Currently I am using 7th generation pullups. I feel bad at the waste I am adding to our landfills but I do not know what else to use.

This is my favorte kind of training pant–it’s cloth so my son feels the pee-but it’s waterproof so it does get his pants wet. And it’s alittle puff but it’s easy for him to pull them on and off.

If your child leaks through these at night, just google oxalate sensitivity and see what you find. We leaked at night almost every night since birth and when we cut out oxalates we no longer have a problem. I simply leave this review here because many people seek this product for nightime leaking beyond what a pull-up will hold. With the amount of urine he was peeing at night…not even this would hold it in. I don’t blame the pants…we just cut out oxalates and now these stay in the drawer and we are fine. I am not an MD, this is just our experience. These pants did their job, they are soft, have good elastic…but they are very poofy and pj’s may not fit over them. Good Luck
