Question by SolarPower: Are training pants as absorbent as diapers?
My daughter is 6 months old and for one I want to try to start potty training her, and two, when I change her diaper she wails and rolls over and it takes about ten minutes to get her diaper on her right so I thought training pants might be faster to get her into.

I doubt you will have luck in the potty training this early. And the training pants are worse than the diaper, absorb less and when they poop you cant slide it off, it might smear.

What do you think? Answer below!

No they are not and 6 months seems a little early to be potty trained

You want to potty train a 6 month old?!?! Good luck on that. I’ve never seen them that small.

Training pants are not as absorbent as diapers because they’re made to leave some wetness against the skin to make the child a little more uncomfortable in them. This is supposed to motivate them to go potty instead of going in the training pants.

    no

Well I do agree its way to early to be potty training. Normally they show signs to when there ready
    1. when there able to walk really good.
    2. when they start taking there diaper off because they don’t like being dirty.
    3. when they can understand the words Potty, Pee and thing likes this.

The bit with her turning , rolling over and pushing away is just a normal 6 months old. My little boy started that at almost 8 months. Hes 10 now and its a task to get a diaper of him but that’s no reason for training pants and trying to trane him. Hes not ready. He don’t walk on his own and he don’t understand the differences between Diaper and Potty yet. So no Not ready to train sorry there’s no way…But trust me you will know when shes ready but I would give it some more time.
