it really is not to early i was 18 months old and really defiant,i never wanted anyone to tell me what to do until my dad said if i go 24 hours without having an accident he would reward me,from that point on if they can go 24 hours with out having an accident they can be potty trained

I have not tried it, but I want to try it on my niece, but getting my sister on board is another story. But anyway I have a friend that did this with her son. Pretty much they stayed home for 3 days straight, did not go out just stayed home, and drank liquids. I am pretty sure it was to the potty about every 45 minutes or so. It work for them, he was potty trained in those few days, except at night. So good luck!!

I think that your daughter may be a bit young for the 3 day potty training method. She’s not even 2 yet, so don’t be disappointed if it takes more than 3 days. I started potty training my daughter when she was about 19 months (she just turned 2), but I don’t think she would have been ready for a 3 day potty training method no matter how miraculous. These methods are probably more of a jump start to get your kid interested which you could probably do on your own without paying a crazy amount of money.
More power to you if it works, but I don’t think you can expect your child to be “fully” potty trained in 3 days. Potty training is a process and does not happen over night. Its possible, but it will take some time and there will be accidents (lots of accidents). I started by buying potty movies (Potty Power, Elmo’s Potty Time, etc.) and had her watch them while sitting on the potty. She was using the potty the first day of training. Use lots of stickers, maybe candy, and definitely lots of hugs and kisses and your daughter will be fine.

Oh, I don’t think there is any set time for all kids to be potty trained. One of mine was earlier than that and two in the middle, the last kinda later. The most important thing in doing it in 3 days is who are you training..the child or you? A little wet diaper isn’t worth frustrating a child so that they do other things like stuttering or something else. Not sure why that is so important compared to other things..but best of luck to you in this, and the best for your child.

Absolutely not. A young child/baby should never be pushed so quickly into anything, even potty-training. Their minds need to develop understanding as each child understands at different levels, the same as any human-being. A baby cannot develop any knowledge in 3 days, learning is gradual for babies. If this method is so wonderful, and works for so many babies, why are people not using a 3-day method for Calculus in 20 month old babies? Please let your child grow mentally, and not train them like a dog. Without natural brain function growth, any human will never LEARN, they will only be triggered by command.

Both of my older children were trained within 48 hours. My son was older though – probably 2.5 ish. My daughter was 18 months but still in nappies at night until she was 3.
