Boys do typically take longer to train. My first born was potty trained by the time he was 2. which by all counts is unusual for a boy. However, he did everything early. My second child, a boy, is 3.5 years old and shows no interest in the potty and it’s driving me mad.

Yeah just because YOUR son toliet trained quickly and easily doesn’t mean all boys train quickly and easily. On AVERAGE boys are tougher. I have worked with toddlers for years and boys and most {not all} take longer to train. Nothing wrong with it. Just how it is.

my son is 21 months old and he is already potty trained.. and he will pee standing.. so the myth that boys take longer is bull… but it does take work at a lot of attention
