potty training potties eBay auctions you should keep an eye on:

Question by k9copsgrl: How do you pic a training potty?
There are SO many out there! Even used ones at the flea market and some that play music. How do you chose which potty training potty to use???

Answer by Pippin
Cheap and practical.
I picked on somewhat similar to this:

http://www.amazon.com/Safety-1st-Nature-Eco-friendly-Potty/dp/B0039YP11C/ref=sr_1_48?ie=UTF8&qid=1314377229&sr=8-48

It worked as a free standing potty, then as a seat insert for the regular toilet, then as a step-stool. 15 years later it still functions as a step-stool in our kitchen to allow the shorter family members to reach the top shelf.

Question by Allie: What are some tips for toilet training my puppy?
My puppy had an upset stomach because of the stress of moving into a new home. Because of this we didn’t get to start toilet training him straight away. Now his tummy and excretions are all normal but he keeps on going inside even when we have just taken him out (he does nothing outside).

What should I do?

Thanks in advance,
Allie ♥

Crate training, expect accidents in the beginning but do NOT punish him for them. There’s info on google about crate training, you can search there. Good luck! If you need more info on house breaking feel free to email me.

Cloth Potty Training Pants on eBay:

Question by Scotty23: Potty training.. Cloth training pants affordable absorbent?????
Ok I have a 2 year old who has the concept of using the potty. But disposable pullups aren’t getting it done. If she wears cloth underwear she uses the potty 80% of the time. If she wears a pull up it’s more like 10%. I’ve tried your basic gerber pants. They aren’t absorbant at all and she absolutely hates the plastic covers. Forget that. I’ve seen some all in one trainers but they are almost + . I need something much cheaper. I can’t go buy a diaper and her refuse to wear it, if it works at all. I’m fine with the disposables at night. And leaks aren’t to bad when we are home. But we go to parent’s and friends house a lot, can’t have her peeing on other people’s carpet. lol So here’s what I’m looking for if any mom could help me out. Absorbent, not too bulky, not too plastic, comfortable, and affordable cloth training pants. AIO conveinence would be nice also. Sounds like I’m asking a lot huh’. Well any help in my search would be appreciated.

Imse Vimse makes great training pants. They’re not cheap — about a pair, but if you only need them for going out (and are willing to put up with messes at home for a while), you don’t need more than 2 or 3 pair. They’re very absorbent and have a waterproof outer layer. (They’re incredibly cute, too, but a little bulky.)
Another option is to pick up a few pair of cheap plastic pants and pull those up over the Gerber training pants. You can usually find them at the same department stores that sell the training pants. (Any other cloth diaper cover will do, too, if you already have some.)
And … Ditch the pull-ups! If a child is ready to potty train, it’s best to just go for it.
