Question by : Is this good potty training advice?
For a child to be wetting the bed this is no fun, nor is it well. I am sure with my experienced I shall have you to overcome this at once. First you must teach the child the rule:

1. No child must create filth or wetness on its pants.

2. A child who create filth or wetness on its pants is a pain on the hearts of its parent.

3. If the child wets its pants its pants will have been remove and package then mail to the president of this country where child reside. The president will be knowledgable of the this child’s have create wetness and filth in its pants.

4. The child is told this will be of the news with the president’s press conference and all of family and friend will bear witness.

5. Have trusting male call child and state he is the president and has sorrow on his face for child’s wetness and filth.

6. If lesson goes unheeded the child is told the next filth and wetness will be package and sent to St. Nick.

7. Continuance through the list of all child’s hero and role model.

8. If this approach is no avail then more drastic is needed. The child is told will have to join Army for five year stint if problem has not remedy in 3 day time.

9. Have trusting male call on the telephone and state he is General of Army and shall be to collect child presently.

10. If still of no avail tell child it is rum and naught. Again you will repeat whole of steps in three day time.

After this it will soon all children subject to this will have cease to spoil their trousers.

thats horrendous bullying, just create a star chart, and give them a star everytime they are dry, making a big deal of it makes it worse

My son just turned 3 and has been daytime potty trained for a few months now. We use pull ups when we go out, just incase. Better to be safe than sorry.

He also wears a pull up @ night. I have started waking him up anywhere from 2 -3 x a night to go potty, he hates it and still usually wakes up soaked in the morning anyways. My husband works til late, so we usually end up having a late dinner, I am thinking that last drink w. dinner is what is doing it. Should I cut off drinks @ a certian time b4 bed? Well anyways any tips or suggestions would be appreciated.

Well, something my mom did to make my little sister hate diapers and start using the toilet was that she filled put some grape jelly on the inside of the diaper. When she didn’t want to use the toilet, my mom would bring her the bag of diapers, and show her the one with the jelly. This made my sister think that all of them had the “weird” stuff inside, and she never put on another diaper again, and she used the toilet everytime. lol.

Question by Incognito: If day time potty training and night time potty training did not happen?
simultaneously for you little one, when did they start being dry at night?

My first daughter just did them both at the same time, but my second has been daytime trained for nearly 6 mo and still SOAKS a diaper at night. My MIL tells me that my hubby was a bed wetter until age *gasp* 7.

If thats the case stop giving her liquids at a certain time like 6pm. Make sure before she goes to bed she uses the bathroom. And check on her before you go to bed.
