Question by teamaniston: toddler toilet training?
how old was your toddler when he/she was toilet trained? how long did it take and what did you do?
My son is 2 yrs and 5 months and for 3 months he has been sitting on the toilet but has not actually done his business in there. We “practise” almost every day, he like to sit on the toilet etc so its something he wants to do. But nothing comes out!
We’ve tried the pull up pants with the wetness liner, didnt make a difference.
Help please!

I started after my daughter turned 3. I smiled & said “you’re a big girl, now & we are going to the store to get you a big girls potty seat & big girl undies, ok!?” she was all excited & picked powerpuff girls undies.
I explained that “funny feeling” she gets at the bottom of her tummy when she has to go potty- or the pushing feeling she gets if she had to poop, & that if she got that feeling she should quick go to the bathroom. & every time she did it we would clap & celebrate with her.
she had 2 accidents in all, none in the bed.
I think for a lot of kids 2 is too young & this misunderstanding actually delays the process. no rush, maybe just wait until he’s older so he can understand what you’re saying better.
good luck!
