Question by : Potty Training, shopping, traveling etc…?
My daughter (28 months) is fully using her potty while we are at home (other then night) She wears panties all day with no accidents but the only thing is she will not use a regular toilet and im not sure how to go about getting her to potty while we are out of the house. She also never tells me when she has to go she does it all on her own. I was just wondering if anyone has any advice, do I just need to wait? Her going at home is a great accomplishment for us and I am very proud of her so I don’t really want to push her and make going all together be something she doesn’t want to do anymore.

You have 3 options:

Don’t go out for long.
Put pull ups on her.
Get a foldable potty seat that can fit on any potty and keep it in your purse for when you are out.

Question by 0400772: Toilet Training Pup…. what am i doing wrong?
I take him out every hour trying to get him used to toileting outside to no avail. He just waits bout 10 mins after we get back in to do it. No matter how long i let him out for. He has done the toilet a few times outside and each time gets treat and lots of praise. What annoys me is that when he goes indoors he bows his head afterwards if you come towards him – even if you havent noticed toileted area- so he knows he is doing wrong. How can i get him to stop!!!!

i really dont want to use crate training, is there any other thing…..

He holds it all night, and first thing i do when i get up is take him out to which he is getting good at toileting within 3 mins of the house. however it during the day and it does seem to be when im either not looking or in another room.

i think there might actually be a seperation anxiety thing as when i was cleaning the other day he got shut in the bathroom for less than 2 mins and he had done 1 & 2. 5 mins later i was mopping kitchen so shut door to do behind door less than 30 secs and he did the same again. so im not sure if it a toilet training things. Can someone please give me an idea of what i should do

Every time it looks like he has to go (sniffing the ground, wandering like he’s looking for a place, and when he dissapears because he wants a quiet place) run him outside.
If you see him start to squat, yell POTTY! and run him out. If you yell potty it will startle him he will stop and you can get outside and let him finish and praise the daylights outta him.
